I Work with Adults, Children and Young People
I provide evidence-based psychological therapy and counselling to adults and children aged 8 years and above. I also offer autism assessment for adults without intellectual disability.
I take a compassionate, person-centred approach where I draw on my specialist clinical and extensive research experience to provide high-quality care that is always tailored to the client’s needs.
Adults
I offer individual psychological therapy and counselling for adults, specialising in providing psychological support to people who stammer and individuals with hoarding disorder. I also have experience working with a range of other psychological difficulties and conditions, such as trauma. Learn more about the range of difficulties I work with here.
In addition, I offer adult autism assessments using the Adult Asperger Assessment (AAA) interview, a comprehensive assessment tool used within the NHS.
Children and Young People
I work with children aged 8 years and above, providing therapy that is adapted to their developmental needs. Sessions can be offered individually or jointly with a parent or carer, depending on the child’s needs and preferences.
The conditions I specialise in are stammering/stuttering and hoarding disorder/tendencies. I can also support children with a number of other psychological difficulties, such as Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). You can see the full list here.
Parent Consultations
I conduct parent consultations and provide EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) support.
Parent consultations are sessions that take place without the child present. These sessions create a dedicated space to discuss your child’s needs, explore possible approaches, and think together about what may be most helpful.
Given the developmental nature of the conditions I specialise in, parents often find these consultations highly valuable. They can be offered as a stand-alone intervention or as a complement to ongoing therapy with the child.
I also provide EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) support. This is to help parents confidently liaise with their child’s school to ensure they get the help and support they need.
Online Practice
My clinic operates online, allowing therapy and consultations to take place in a flexible and accessible way. Many people find that working online enables them to engage more comfortably from their own environment.
Online therapy can work well for adults, young people, and many children. When working with children and young people, we would consider together whether the online format feels suitable for their needs.
I am currently accepting enquiries for appointments starting in mid-April 2026. I aim to respond to all messages, including during periods when I may be away.
